The Jazz Extension Swing Band

The Jazz Extension Swing Band, as the name implies, focuses on swing.

Myrna Van Weerdenburg on vocals, Michael Morse on bass, David Story on piano, Lenny Van Bruggen on drums and Nick Van Weerdenburg, the leader, on clarinet and sax comprise the band.

For 15 years they have played the first Saturday of each month (except July) at the Ben Wicks Pub at Parliament and Gerard. The Jazz Extension also does many corporate and private functions in the Toronto area.

The Jazz Extension Swing Band also plays regularly at the Van Go Restaurant on Lakeshore Blvd. in Port Credit.

Whether casual, or black-tie, The Jazz Extension can dress to your function.
